Ore Trails

Mountain biking

Taking you into the very heart of Slovakia amid the verdant hills, this tour promises great mountain biking experience and also, it takes in the most enchanting places of this medieval eldorado that was once a famous mining region abounding in copper, silver and gold.

We visit beautiful towns like the gothic walled Kremnica, and the lively Banská Bystrica with newly renovated squares lined with Church on the main square - Banská Bystrica renaissance facades or the interesting rural village of Špania Dolina formerly a renowned copper producer, whose copper ingots you would have found even aboard of Columbus' ship. The abundant uplands around these places offer countless biking trails of varied surface, moderate slopes to steep and challenging climbs rewarded with thrilling descents rushing down the woods and green pastures.

The highlight of our journey is the charmingOld town promenade - Banská Štiavnica UNESCO town of Banská Štiavnica picturesquely clinging to sides of surrounding green hills which offers countless monuments, museums including a visit to an authentic 16th century goldmine and also a popular MTB marathon trail. After the rides you can swim in one of the 23 nearby lakes, relax in the local thermal spa or just stroll around the town and soak up the cosy atmosphere of its cobbled streets and stylish pubs.

Don't hesitate, check the dates! Adventure awaits you.
